Thermal Management

UAM has a rich history interweaving aluminum, copper, nickel and steel to craft thermal devices with optimized performance.  By welding select regions, while leaving loose foil in between, Fabrisonic creates complex flexible metal straps for electrical and thermal applications.  Likewise, copper can be integrated into stainless or cast aluminum electronics vaults to enhance heat dissipation.  Unlike brazing or resistance welding, the solid-state nature of a UAM bond doesn’t alter grain size, ensuring the full conductivity of the incoming material is maintained.
