Repair

Because UAM is a solid-state process, Fabrisonic can repair parts by either adding material to reinforce parts, or removing material and them building it back up and machining to the original geometry, without changing the material properties of the part. The hybrid nature of UAM allows for enhancing parts further by embedding sensors, joining dissimilar metals, or reinforcing a pre-existing part through embedding MMCs or other stiff material. Fabrisonic’s largest in-house machine has a 6’ x 6’ x 3’ printing envelope, allowing for the repair of large parts.
